This easily posts to Google Classroom. Google Meet is a video conferencing tool, but you can easily use this as a screencasting tool. Explain Everything (iOS, Android and Chromebooks) and Educreations (iOS and the web) are similar tools with a whiteboard you can add pdfs, images, drawings, shapes, colors, text, audio, and more!

Enter them to an easily accessible digital calendar like Google Calendar and share with students, parents, and interested stakeholders. In the case of Edpuzzle and Playposit, the responses can go straight to an LMS (learning management system) such as Google Classroom or Schoology. In addition to those mentioned above, teachers can create their own videos using tools such as Educreations or Adobe Captivate. Educators can also harness video to create flipped lessons.

Searching a hashtag on Google will often produce better resources than keywords. Draw and Dash - Each student will need to use a piece of paper or a drawing app like Tackk, Educreations, Magic Paintbrush, or Sketchbook Express. Hashtags help students and you find the most relevant and updated resources in any field.

Educreations is a favorite because you can add pages and annotate on the pages with the tools. Educreations is an iPad app that can also be accessed from your browser. Since Educreations is like an interactive whiteboard, it requires a narration to record and save. Noteability is another app that is easy to use.

They then had to create a Prezi , PowerPoint or Google Doc presentation to be shared at a later time on what they found/learned to the class. He used an app on his iPad called Educreations to create the lesson. Students worked in pairs using Mac Books to record comments on a shared Google Doc.

For younger students, like my third and fourth graders, we used Google Drawings to create our #BookSnaps and then shared them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Seesaw. I have one student that recently discovered his Google for EDU account automatically gave him his own YouTube channel as well.

Use Educreations to record yourself modeling the process and share it with students and families. Google Docs and the extension Read & Write for Google are great if you are working out of Google Drive. DocHub also works great with Google Docs by locking the text like a PDF file for students to annotate.

DOK questions are easy to assess with whiteboards, worksheets, responders (clickers) , or through Google Forms because there are correct answers. Is it a good quick-check for understanding? Sure, as long as students have plenty of opportunities to focus on cognitively more complex thinking!
