For years we have embraced the effective integration of technology to enhance the teaching and learning process. For a final project, each student had to create brochures and posters using technology tools to accompany a written paper detailing their trip. He used an app on his iPad called Educreations to create the lesson.

Newsela is an online collection of current events and nonfiction articles with guiding questions and text students can annotate. Nearpod can also be used to model close reading.
