Guest Blog Post – Technology and it’s role in encouraging procrastination.

Procrastination is something we all battle with. It stops us getting the things done that we want to get done and it stops us achieving the things we want to achieve. It is particularly pervasive in college students with 80%-95% engaging in procrastination. In a wider context, 15% to 20% of the general public are also chronically affected by procrastination.

We make the same mistakes every time but remember there are things you can do to reduce the impact of procrastination. It really is about changing how you approach your work and understanding the thoughts that result in this needless procrastination. There are now some great apps that can help you as well. For example, Anti-Social blocks you from your Facebook when you want to get work done and some people might really find that useful.
