Wired Magazine highlighted women who are doing just that, such as Wang Qi, who transformed the lives of subsistence farmers in her hometown by showing them the benefits of e-commerce, and Kresse Wesling, co-founder, Elvis & Kresse, which tackles the build-up of materials in landfills by finding creative ways to transform waste streams. Mary Snapp, Corporate Vice President and Head of Microsoft Philanthropies, writes about the #PressforProgress, movement, which aims to inspire the next generation of female STEM leaders, and Education World has gathered a list of resources for teachers to celebrate International Women's Day.
