  1. Excellent article. I think one of the best ways to disarm parents in this situation is to express our own challenges as a parent. Building trust is essential in getting parents to buy-in as this can go south in a hurry if they think we’re judging them (the parents).

    1. I rarely had parent problems and as I recall from your book, you didn’t either. When it starts with mutual respect, I just didn’t have any ‘difficult parents’.
