Popular belief is that it was a whale, but that would be ridiculous. It's virtually impossible for a whale of any size to swallow a man, and for him to survive inside it's stomach for up to three days. But I bet there are plenty of fish out there in the depths of the oceans that might be large enough to take on the job.

Make Beliefs Comix is a excellent site that educators around the world are using for digital storytelling, project based learning, reinforcing vocabulary, and more. Recently, they launched their "Give Me Words" feature which lets students supply words to their talking heads. This is great for adding dialogue to a character and giving them a "voice" letting students experiment w/ language making it ideal for Vocabulary and ELL.
