Last year alone, more than 900,000 low-income students who applied for and were found eligible for state financial aid for college never received it, because states ran out of money, according to a new analysis of state data by The Hechinger Report.

In iOS 9, back in the good times, Apple introduced the ability to install ad blockers on your iPhone or iPad, and lo, the mobile browsing experience was improved. Fewer ads, less tracking, etc. For a couple of years, I’d been pretty happily using 1Blocker , which was extremely effective. Recently, though I’d noticed a lot more. dreck on my mobile devices.
