Holly Hatton, EdD, NBCT
Supervisor of Special Education, Wicomico County Public Schools, MD
Dr. Hatton has been a special educator for 28 years. During her tenure as a special educator, she has worked with students ages 3 to 21 and their teachers. Dr. Hatton leads special education professional development in her county and is a National Board‑Certified Teacher. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University, her master’s in Special Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from The George Washington University.
Dee McCarthy-Dillon
Special Education Teacher, Wicomico County Public Schools, MD
Dee has been teaching for 12 years, choosing education as her second career. She believes that our most vulnerable members of society are also our most valuable, and how we advocate for and include our special needs population directly mirrors our own sense of community. Dee received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Liverpool John Moores University, UK, and her master’s degree in Special Education from Western Governors University.
Kimberly McGlinchey
Program Specialist, Wicomico County Public Schools, MD
Kimberly has been an educator for 21 years, including serving as a resource teacher, advisor, and special education teacher. She has spent the past five years training new special education teachers in her county. Currently, Kimberly supports new and veteran teachers with compliance and any classroom or other needs. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York College and her master’s in Special Education from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
