My job is to interview and survey the pioneers, investors and stakeholders who drive technological change, share their stories, and collaborate with very smart people to build and distribute tools that help everyone else get involved. The parallels between the early days of the world wide web and today’s edtech scene are surreal.

For us, it was at EdFoo 2017 , an un-conference of teachers, edtech gurus, funders and others gathered at Google’s Silicon Valley headquarters for three days of spontaneous learning. When was the last time you walked into a conference without an agenda? Or, for that matter, without the slightest idea of what you might learn?

If you think about the staggering amount of edtech services out there, coupled with the numerous types of devices, it can feel pretty overwhelming to most people. We go to edcamps, conferences, webinars, etc. need to keep this in mind when sharing with the intent of moving teachers forward with technology integration.
