Khan is the creator of Khan Academy. He began his keynote by sharing a video montage of Khan Academy highlights and then presenting some impressive statistics on usage. The Khan Academy videos have been hailed as a departure from 'boring old lectures', and I suppose the same could be said for the TED series of videos. Another objection to the flipped classroom is the digital divide. There are several vaunted examples of this. Don't get me wrong, video has its place in education.
