Keep those eyes peeled at Edcamp-- resources can be found anywhere! How To Run Your Own Edcamp I enjoyed listening to Kevin Jarret and others discuss the structure and design of Edcamps and how to start Edcamps as PD in one''s own school. Parent/Educator EDU

My Island View

The Edcamp model of instruction for professional development seems to fit the bill for the needs of both educators and parents. All Edcamp topic sessions are based on conversation and not lecture. This Edcamp model will get parents and educators talking about learning. I have long been a guest blogger for Edutopia, which has been both a challenge and an honor.
