After students decided as a group, they voted individually as a class about their opinion on the source with “ Poll Everywhere ,” using their cell phones. Students discussed the definitions of marketing and advertising and how they are different. Millian’s math students utilized an Avermedia document camera to display work.

And the students who aren't adding or dropping definitely benefit from a thorough look at the systems of the class, particularly my grading systems. Then on Friday, do nothing but learn how to use the course technology (Perusall, Poll Everywhere, Jupyter notebooks, etc.). It's not a great definition, in other words.

While this was definitely an improvement, issues still remained as to the depth of responses each student could provide as well as actively engaging the shyest students in the class. Mentimeter – Move over Poll Everywhere. Mentimeter is a great tool that allows you to poll your audience in a variety of ways.

Students from Algebra 1B and Elements of Geometry have used Poll Everywhere in order to answer multiple choice questions. They now can come up to the board and use the compass, ruler, and protractor (all within the SMART notebook software) to construct different Geometric relationships.
