And we have another school year successfully down in the books! As I had my students reflect on their year in math class, one of them mentioned that we should make a video. So of course, we made that happen! Any student who wanted to be filmed had the opportunity. I then had a student who is just getting into film making (9th grader) ‘direct’ the video. I had her review all footage and select which clips to use. I wanted our video to truly be told from the student perspective, so I did not give the students any prompts, and I also stayed out of the original editing process (the only thing I did with the video was add some music and headers).
