A year ago, I created a technology course on Moodle for Spanish teachers as part of the Ministry of Education of Spain. The course is task based and I’m fortunate to be one of the instructors. The course will soon be over so I am grading their reflective eportfolio final projects. Add video, pdfs, etc.

Your district leaders can create courses around what your teachers need. State-wide TOT PD was delivered face-to-face, but now teachers can also access the state-wide course in Epsilen to refresh themselves on content they were exposed to over a year ago. State-wide TEKS PD courses in Epsilen have been huge resources for teachers.

A peak into a course focussing on building your undertanding of eportfolios. The Moodle course features a series of Elluminate Live workshops during October – December.

Platforms like Moodle require server space. Students can create eportfolios with social bookmarking tools and as a final project create eportfolio presentations in which they reflect on the learning for each module/unit.
