I had them come down and meet with several student leaders and me this past spring where I shared my vision of having a mobile app for New Milford HS , which could also be shared with other schools. All the constituents of the NMHS community are both intrigued and excited by its capabilities.

Who could have known that Steve Jobs would have introduced the iPhone only ten years later? We have to go back in and continually edit, check for accuracy, check for bias, make sure it's meeting and serving the needs of our students. So, for example, I know of an ed tech company in the U.K. There was email. A basic browser.

The basic premise (I suggest you read the whole article ) is that a 17 year old working at BlackBoard (a technology company), is ridiculed for using their phone during a meeting by some older adults, because it looks like he is texting, while he is actually taking notes. My iPhone is a computer, and it’s natural to take notes on it.

They are moving more and more into the mobile market and now you can do video calls on the iPhone. I think the bigger story here is the fact that social networking in the classroom really took off. So if Ning is gone where can you turn to introduce social networking to your students? Ning - What can we say about Ning?

My interest in this technology stems from the promise both companies make: This is the tablet that will replace your laptop. This is a really nice feature for taking notes during meetings. Personally, I use my MacBook Air for writing and interacting on social media, while I use my iPad Air for reading content and playing games.
