to share ideas, meet new people and see old friends. As a small company it’s hard to be heard over the noise (and the smell of popcorn). This year we didn’t exhibit at ISTE, but I attended the event to hold meetings and scope out the landscape. They are offering hands-on learning, demos and pens, bags, candy, prizes.

She says if she was still using Facebook groups, she doesn’t think the recent news about the company would bother her. Here is an example I use a lot where I asked people to give me their thoughts on what a PLN (Personal Learning Network) means to them. Through the use of Twitter, Facebook and other sites, educators are starting to see the power of social media to extend learning beyond the classroom. Very easy and lots of potential. Need ideas?
