Whereas in the beginning, it felt more focused on digital learning and ed-tech, this year felt more like it was a hub for relevant education conversations. A small set of educators could always create an Edcamp , a model in need of revival in our times. Thus, organizers implicitly asked participants to choose their own adventure.

One of the struggles in Wisconsin is digital learning days, where students with limited or no access to WIFI at home cannot access their education. The presenters all agree that there are many hurdles, especially in a rural district, to meet the digital equity challenge. Additionally, she is a prolific writer, researcher, and speaker.

The value of professional learning networks (PLNs). It should be part of the curriculum for a preservice teacher to learn how to leverage these PLNs for their future learning when they are out of the classroom as a student. I believe this is a game changer for education and can't be ignored.
