Whereas in the beginning, it felt more focused on digital learning and ed-tech, this year felt more like it was a hub for relevant education conversations. A small set of educators could always create an Edcamp , a model in need of revival in our times. And that they did. That’s healthy for everyone involved.

One of the struggles in Wisconsin is digital learning days, where students with limited or no access to WIFI at home cannot access their education. Additionally, Michael serves on the Leadership team for ISTE’s Digital Equity PLN and volunteers with many other non-profit and leadership organizations in the education community.
