Khan is the creator of Khan Academy. He began his keynote by sharing a video montage of Khan Academy highlights and then presenting some impressive statistics on usage. The catalyst for Khan Academy began some years ago with a Yahoo doodle Sal developed to help a family member with her struggles in math.

Blended learning occurs when an education program combines Internet-based media with traditional classroom methods. Online Course delivery system. Khan Academy. Digital books are aligned with state standards and Common Core. These should be in place before unpacking a blended learning program.

Heck, our education system has become so good at maintaining the status quo and enforcing compliance throughout that we and many others have been brainwashed into thinking any other course of action would be foolish.
