She stayed with her Facebook group method her first two years of teaching there, but stopped once the school started using Google Classroom. She says if she was still using Facebook groups, she doesn’t think the recent news about the company would bother her. She felt like having both would be redudant.

Think about it in a lower elementary classroom. Skype took off and more and more teachers are using it in the classroom. Even Skype itself got in the game late in the year and created a place for teachers to sign-up to connected with other classrooms. The best part is that others can do the same. Very easy and lots of potential.
