When the Internet arrived, I — as did my colleagues — adopted it mostly for two reasons: 1) research — in place of the library, and 2) rote drills, such as supporting math practice. Using the Internet in classrooms has morphed from optional to organic. Digital books are aligned with state standards and Common Core.

It was run like a flipped classroom where class members picked 60% of daily topics, then they read, tested and experimented. Many teachers noted that it was as important to them to validate their approach to teaching technology in their classroom as it was to extend their learning. Failed and tried again. Asked questions.

The Tech-infused Classroom. I found that much of what I currently do in the classroom has been validated. The Differentiated Teacher.
