When focusing on 1:1, iPads, etc: Focus on teaching teachers to give better feedback and students to self-assess instead of the technology. Good apps for creating tutorials: Explain Everything, Screen Chomp, Educreations District #2 : Revisiting their BYOD initiative. In library they are using stop motion technology to develop stories.

Suzy Brooks ( @SimplySuzy ) first introduced me to the concept of using technology to create learning centers through her creative use of her SMARTBoard. On a computer or Chromebook, students can use the web version of the Math Learning Center apps and then record their thinking with SnagIt or Screencastify.

As with Educreations/Explain Everything, a child can use the voice over to explain the content that they place on each slide. Nearpod also allows for interactive questioning, where student answers can be anonymously shared with classmates.
