She’s helped the students find books in the library, and she has also helped them learn some ways to navigate ways to share their knowledge through Google Slides or Wixie. It can be as simple as just solving a math problem with each other, or doing a science project, or doing a whole chapter book that we are sharing books and ideas with. We all read the same book at the same time, but we each shared ideas throughout it, and we had different things we talked about in the book.

At the end of the probably year-long — I don’t have a too many people who do it in a semester class — they have a book they can publish. Some of them did it on Google Docs and then pulled it over to Book Creator. You write it. Review the writing.

I guess there’s a little aspect of a book report in there. Then they talk about what people have in their preparedness kit. I forget what else they pick up from the novel, but they employ all those things. There’s a big aspect of current events, and kids making an argument, presenting themselves, public speaking.
