When I facilitate workshops on this model, I describe it as a sequence of learning activities designed to move students toward a specific learning goal or objective. Teachers will want to use pre-assessments, diagnostics, and/or assess prior knowledge to identify where each student is in relation to the content at the heart of the playlist.
