There are a myriad of platforms to choose from: edublogs , Kidblog (especially good for elementary age children), Blogger , wordpress , and most LMS systems have a blogging platform built in. Blogs as ePortfolio. This makes them a great platform for students to build their own ePortfolio. Blogs as a Showcase for Student Work.

Each unit typically includes a couple Zaption videos for everyone to view, and for each reading level, three to eight books and two to four articles. In my class some books and articles are read by all students so we can have a common conversation, and others are read by a subset of the class, based on reading level.
