2022 EdTech Update MVP Award: “How to Use #Edtech to Engage #Introverted Learners” @EdTech_Update @TEDTalks @TED_ED @EdSurge

“Congratulations! The people have spoken and your article, “How to Use Edtech to Engage Introverted Learners,” has won 1st place in our 2022 EdTech Update MVP Awards Technology category!”

I am so honored to share that my article, “How to Use Edtech to Engage Introverted Learners,” placed first! There were such great entries, so this recognition truly means a lot.

The initial selection of award nominees was chosen by three judges, Neil Jarrett, Dr. Pati Ruiz, and Jeff Bradbury. Voting was then opened up to all.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for my piece. I have to first express a big thanks to TED and TED-Ed. I took TED’s Masterclass two years ago and learned how to write a TED talk. After months of work and revisions, I submitted my talk for review and had the opportunity to deliver it as a TED-Ed Educator Talks: How to use simple tech apps to support ALL learners.

From there, EdSurge helped me publish my talk in written form to reach an even wider audience: How to Use Edtech to Engage Introverted Learners. And this is the article that was selected as the 2022 EdTech Update MVP Awards winner in the technology category!

There have clearly been so many people who have played a part in my publishing the piece that ultimately won this award. I am so grateful to all those who continually support me and push me to put my ideas out there. This recognition means so much!
