As I read the article, I couldn’t help but reflect on a recent article in PLOS One by Phil Grimaldi and his colleagues at OpenStax , which challenged us to be more specific in our theorizing about why OER adoption might improve student learning. Learning will only improve measurably if you ALSO do something else.
