Dr. Kristy Custer is one of the pioneers of the video gaming movement in schools. Over the past 20 years, she has helped lead the CHSM team to state and national honors including a Crystal Star Award for Dropout Prevention Schools, Civic Advocacy Award, Promising Practice Award, and being named a National School of Character.

All students with disabilities need to develop strong self-advocacy and communication skills to make sure they’re getting the supports they’re due, especially in the sink-or-swim real world. He wants to work in video production and is taking classes in that field. In the end … a lot of the onus will come back on the school.
