One area where I have focused over the past few months is integrating technology and math in the primary classroom with my colleague, Meagan Cinfel ( @mcinfel ), a first grade #iPadAcademy teacher at Central Elementary in Bellevue Public Schools. Additionally, a principal at one of our elementaries had secured funding to purchase an iPad for each of his teachers. We wanted the training resources to be readily available to our teachers on an ongoing basis without the need for a password to access them, so they are posted on our public website (see links above).

The biggest limitation for younger students is finding materials written at an accessible reading level, but this can be overcome by focusing more on videos and finding books with a "read to me" feature. For elementary school-age students, I recommend looking for ebooks at Epic! -- Unlimited Books for Kids and Zing!,
