Amazon Providing Free Online Access to Amazon Future Engineer Computer Science Courses

Amazon has announced that as schools across the country experience disruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, Amazon Future Engineer will provide free online access to sponsored computer science courses in the US, which is for independent learners grades 6-12, and teachers who are remotely teaching this age group. Parents can also access this curriculum. 

Amazon Future Engineer and curriculum partner, Edhesive, will grant teachers and students access to these free courses shortly after they complete an online application, which can be found at amazonfutureengineer.com. 

Courses currently available include:

  • Middle School - Computer Science Explorations
  • High School – Introduction to Computer Science in Python, Computer Science Principle (AP endorsed), Computer Science A - Java (AP Endorsed)
