#BackToSchool Resources: Building Community, #SEL, #Mindfulness, Goal Setting, Creating a Culture of Respect, & More

As we head into the 2023-24 academic year, I wanted to compile and share some resources related to social-emotional learning, mindfulness, check-ins, self-care, understanding feelings, celebrating one another, creating a culture of respect, and more. Additionally, I’ve curated a selection of ideas that you might find useful in the first couple of weeks of school. These templates and prompts are designed to aid in building a strong classroom community, supporting students in getting to know both their teacher and their peers, and help you gain a better understanding of your students, fostering trust as they gradually open up to you. I focused on finding articles and activities in Pear Deck and Flip, as they are two edtech tools I rely on most.
