Teachers are the unsung heroes behind every successful classroom. Their dedication, passion, and expertise are foundational pillars for a thriving learning environment. However, an often overlooked aspect that contributes toward their success is their connection to other educators, particularly through Edcamp, an “unconference” professional learning model where educators unite, exchange ideas, and cultivate a culture of learning. I have been inspired by, mentored by, and connected to more teachers through Edcamp than anything else I have ever done. Edcamp is where I became the teacher I am today, and where I know I will grow into the teacher I need to be tomorrow.

Collaborative efforts ensure a more holistic approach to education, catering to diverse learning needs and empowering students to thrive academically and socially.
