Edcamps are organic, participant-driven professional learning experiences for educators across the country and worldwide!
I recently attended one in Bangkok. It was an excellent experience and I gained a lot of knowledge, ideas and resources from fellow educators.
I would say the key difference between an Edcamp and a typical educational conference is that they are unstructured and the sessions are based on sharing expertise. With such a wide range of people that attend, I certainly got a lot of new ideas.
