For years we have embraced the effective integration of technology to enhance the teaching and learning process. For a final project, each student had to create brochures and posters using technology tools to accompany a written paper detailing their trip. He used an app on his iPad called Educreations to create the lesson.

I had a the opportunity to attend a workshop on "5 Minute Mobile Projects" for students at the Midwest Technology conference. He made a great point that technology should not just be a replacement for the pencil, because eventually the computer will be just a another tool students will get tired of using.
