In March of 2009, I began to use Twitter, and it was at this time that I began to create a Personal Learning Network (PLN). The experiences where I had some level of choice were the most meaningful to me and resulted in real changes to my educational practice. I think the same can be said when it comes to the learners we serve.

This is another professional accomplishment that I never thought was possible considering I had a fear of public speaking prior to 2009.
