Of those who failed both semesters in 2005-06, only 15 percent graduated in four years. So teachers have been learning new software platforms on the go. Students, too, have been struggling with all the new software, said Veronica Tenesaca, a tutor with Saga Education, which matches tutors with traditionally underserved students.
