Edgenuity highlights schools, districts implementing blended learning. As schools and districts try to better meet the needs of students with different learning styles, blended learning programs are becoming increasingly popular. Because blended learning combines face-to-face instruction with personalized online learning, students have some degree of control over their learning pace and how their content is delivered and consumed.

However, like many schools these days, our district is moving farther away from traditional teaching methods in which we teach specific subjects at specific times (which is what the curriculum publishers supply us with) and is instead encouraging us to teach in a more blended learning/project based learning approach. Project Based Learning is when students work to answer a question, problem or challenge over an extended period of time.
