Vernier Kicks Off Its Spring 2018 Data-Collection Workshop Series

BEAVERTON, Oregon, February 23, 2018 — Vernier Software & Technology will host 21 free hands-on workshops to help science and STEM educators learn how to integrate Vernier data-collection technology—including the new Vernier Go Direct wireless sensors—into their curriculum. Each four-hour workshop will be led by a Vernier training specialist who will guide attendees through classroom-ready labs using award-winning hardware, software, and mobile technologies.

“The data-collection workshops are ideal for physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, Earth science, and middle school science teachers alike,” said John Wheeler, CEO of Vernier Software & Technology. “Teachers—regardless of their discipline and level of experience with data-collection technology—learn new and exciting ways to use technology to engage students in the scientific discovery process.”

Each workshop includes a light meal and the ability to download the Vernier Workshop Training Manual, which includes ready-to-use lab handouts for all science disciplines.
