TCEA announces five new presenters for TCEA Convention & Exposition 2020
Michael Bonner taught at South Greenville Elementary in North Carolina, a 100% free and reduced lunch campus, before moving to the Ron Clark Academy in 2019. His creative teaching caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, who gave Bonner and his students gear to make their own educational music videos — and helped them make one alongside Ellen, Big Sean, Ice Cube, Migos, Ty Dolla Sign, and Lin Manuel Miranda. Bonner’s energetic teaching style puts an emphasis on social and personal needs and challenges and opportunities for learning.
Michael Cohen also known as The Tech Rabbi, is an educator and creativity expert with a mission to help educators unleash their own creative abilities to empower students through design thinking and entrepreneurship. When he isn’t traveling the world sharing his message, he is the director of innovation for Yeshiva University of Los Angeles Boys School (YULA), where he oversees the Schlesinger STEAM and Entrepreneurship Center.

Liv Van Ledtje (aka LivBit) is a 11-year old education advocate, shark expert, and future ichthyologist. She is an ambassador for the Gills Club, an organization promoting girls in science through inquiry-based experiences meant to grow enthusiasm and activism for sharks. She is a passionate advocate for technology that promotes student voice. In Liv's limited spare time, she is also an accomplished ballerina.
