Three women in different AR filters

September 16, 2021 | By

Throughout the Global Week to #Act4SDGs from September 17-28, MY World 360° is screening new augmented reality projects from Australia and Germany, along with a growing collection of virtual reality, 360° video and photography, and interactive 3D design projects that inspire action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of MY World 360°, a partnership between the United Nations SDG Action Campaign, Digital Promise, and Facebook Reality Labs, creators from around the world produce and feature thought-provoking immersive media projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible and open dialogue between the public and policymakers locally and globally.

Mt Resilience and Hear Me Out join the full 2021 MY World 360° collection as part of a newly re-launched MY World 360° Screening Guide, created to inspire conversation and action. The guide is meant for use at home, in-school classrooms, after-school programs, community-based organizations, and even online among distributed teams and networks of people interested in joining together to explore important issues that affect their communities and the world.

From augmented reality (AR) projects that raise awareness about gender-based violence and climate change impacts, to a 360° video documentary raising awareness of human mobility and displacement, the 2021 MY World 360° collection shares powerful perspectives and visions for a better world.

Host your own virtual immersive screening to inspire conversation and action on the SDGs using the #MYWorld360 collection below. Find out how and get involved at www.myworld360.org.
