There is important information beyond the person’s name and location. A very important number on that profile is how many tweets the person has tweeted while on Twitter. Of course that is not limited to administrators, but that is one of my personal hot buttons. Each selection of a person to be connected to for a Personal Learning Network is actually a collegial source.

The “growth mindset” is the openness to learning about the medium, but the idea of the “innovator’s mindset” leads to people creating hashtags to share things that are happening in their classroom, or using it to connect with educators that teach the same discipline as they do. With the Twitter now implementing video in the service, it will be something that people will not only be open to learn, but I am sure will do interesting and new things with.
