Do you know who has access to your private data? When so much of our personal information is available online, it is difficult to know what is ours, what are the threats, and how we can stay in control of our personal data.

As part of Data Privacy Day, Stacy Martin, Senior Privacy Manager at Mozilla, will lead the webinar, “Who is Watching You Now: How to be Smart about Data Privacy,” on Wednesday, January 28th, at 12:00 p.m. PST/3:00 p.m. ET. Martin will be joining the Teach The Web Talks webinar series to share her knowledge about how to be smart online and how you can educate yourself and others about data privacy.

In her role as Senior Privacy manager at Mozilla, Martin focuses on privacy education and community building, while advising Mozilla’s marketing teams on consumer-friendly privacy design for email, social media, and online advertising campaigns.

Watch the webinar live on January 28th at 3pm ET and don’t forget to send questions via Twitter using the hashtag #TeachTheWeb.

Teach The Web Talks are monthly webinars broadcast by the Mozilla foundation as part of the Webmaker educational initiative.

Join Mozilla’s Webmaker community as we sit down with a community expert each month to discuss all things related to education and the web.
