Wayne Township Metropolitan School District and itslearning Take Bronze Medal in Learning Impact Awards

Wayne Township Metropolitan School District and itslearning have been awarded a bronze medal in the 2018 IMS Global Consortium’s Learning Impact Awards program. Their entry in the Established Projects Category, Using LMS Interoperability to Power and Drive Student-Centered Learning, was recognized at this year’s annual Learning Impact Leadership Institute held in Baltimore, Maryland.

An expert panel of judges used eight criteria for determining the learning impact of entries. Out of the 26 projects that competed as finalists in this year’s competition, eight medalists were selected for their outstanding achievement. The award aligned to the theme Evolution to Next Generation Digital Learning Environments and was chosen among applications and platforms to manage the creation and delivery of learning experiences, including personalization, accessibility and mobility.

In their submission to the awards program, Wayne Township and itslearning highlighted five key goals of their LMS partnership, the Wayne Learning Hub: Curated Resources; Digital Community; Safe, Collaborative Learning Spaces; Individual Learning Paths; and Readily Available Access.
