Blended Learning with EDpuzzle

There is an increased interest diversifying and engaging how students learn within and outside the classroom. The conception of “Blended Learning” has been a popular term discussed in education over the past few years.

What is blended learning?
A educational method  in which a student learns at least in part through delivery of content and instruction via digital and online media with some element of student control over time, place, path, or pace. Check out this great infographic from Knewton to learn more about blended learning (I also embedded at the bottom of this post).
The application EDpuzzle is a great teacher and/or student utilization and creation tool to find great educational video resources, add stopping points for surveys/assessments, audio input, and commenting. As a teacher you can enroll your students within the app or you or your students can create interactive videos and share them in what ever way is appropriate for your class.

This video demonstrates from a teacher perspective how to use EDPuzzle (briefly) and post the shared video within Google Classroom for a blended learning classroom experience.
