Summer Memories! edWeb Rock Concert at ISTE 2019

 

Summer is almost over, but the memories linger on of a fabulous time at the edWeb Rock Concert at ISTE 2019 in Philadelphia with the 412 District Teacher Band. Friends and colleagues enjoyed the concert with free drinks provided by edWeb. Rachel Langenhorst, Instructional Coach and Tech Integrationist for Rock Valley School District (IA), and Charmaine Perkins at the ISTE Rock Concert Hosted by edWeb. Rachel has hosted many edWebinars on edWeb and presented twice at ISTE about work she’s done with us! Her work was the subject of a case study for personalized professional learning.

 

 

Michelle Luhtala, Library Director at New Canaan High School, and Lisa Schmucki, edWeb Founder and CEO, catch up over breakfast at the Down Home Diner in the Reading Terminal Market. Lisa and Michelle worked together 10 years ago to launch the Emerging Tech community on edWeb, and the rest is history!  Michelle will be presenting her 100th edWebinar on edWeb this fall.

 

 

The 412 District Teacher Band Members, Rob Furman and Kevin Monaghan, with Charmaine Perkins, who joined the band for Sweet Home Alabama. Dr. Rob Furman, Principal of Southpark Elementary School, is a highly recognized innovative educator and author, and recently presented an edWebinar on edWeb on How a Principal Uses edWeb for Personalized PD for Teachers.

 

 

edWeb Marketing Manager Molly Peterson joined in the activities on the Exhibit Floor at ISTE 2019.

edWeb Program Manager Diane Rhodes stopped by the FreshGrade booth to visit with Kathy Rogers, Lauren Stafford, and Siobhan Nordstrom. Join the FreshGrade community on edWeb on Tech Tools for the Classroom.
