Boxlight Recognized by The Edvocate as a Finalist in the 2018 Tech Edvocate Awards

Boxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL) (“Boxlight”) today announced that its interactive touch technology offerings MimioFrame and MimioSpace were chosen as finalists in the 2018 Tech Edvocate awards.

Finalists were selected by a panel of educators and K-12 parents who reviewed the submissions that were entered and judged the products and services based on the extent to which they are transforming education through the development or advocacy of edtech. The judges also took the results of a popular vote into consideration for the finalist selection process.

The MimioFrame touch board kitreceived recognition as a finalist for Best Classroom Audio-Visual App or Tool. The, making it an efficient tool for instant full-classroom interactive audio-visual learning.

MimioSpace full collaborative system has also been recognized as a finalist in the category for Best Collaboration App or Tool. The complete system, consisting of a laser projector, touch board, and Mini-PC, allows students to work together in an area almost 11 feet wide and over 4 feet tall, making collaborative learning at the front of the classroom a reality.

This year is the second year of the Tech Edvocate awards, which awards outstanding products in the edtech industry that are focused on advocating for students by catering to identified classroom and learning needs. The winners of the 2018 Tech Edvocate awards will be announced Friday, Aug. 31.
