On Saturday, November 4, more than 60 educators joined Digital Promise and Maker Ed for Edcamp: Maker Promise , a full day of powerful professional learning through and about making. Edcamp: Maker Promise was hosted by Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA. Each year, there are an estimated 50 Edcamps held all over the world.

From unCon to edCamp for #CUE16?

There is no box

Attendance at the UnCon wasn’t great but every edcamp (another uncon) I’ve ever attended started small and built over time. I love the edcamp model of unCon. I’m hoping to see unCon return to CUE 2016, perhaps in a friendlier location with more advance notice.

I started coming up with excuses not to go but seeing how I’d missed the last few edCampSFBays, I set the alarm, woke up early on Saturday and headed out for an edCamp, SFBay style.
